Elected with strong bipartisan support in 2018, Senator Nathan Johnson represents the fast-growing and economically and demographically diverse Senate District 16, which stretches across the northern part of Dallas County.
Johnson’s eclectic background – a degree in physics, an accomplished composer, and a practicing attorney – fits the complexity of our rapidly changing state.
Nathan first learned the value and reward of public service while in college, where he helped organize support for survivors of family violence. He has led and served on regional and county boards spanning the arts, education, and the environment; coached youth soccer teams; and volunteered in local public schools as a guest music teacher and reading tutor.
As a husband and parent, Nathan Johnson is committed to cultivating a sustainable future for Texas, where ideas, talent, and hard work foster economic growth and shared opportunity for generations to come.
